UFC 260 takes place on March 27th in Las Vegas and it has some really interesting matchups but nothing beats the main event where Miocic defends his championship against the ferocious Ngannou.

The pair faced each other back in 2018, when the American martial artist came out on top as he defeated Ngannou by a unanimous decision. The victory meant that Miocic had broken the record for most wins in a heavyweight title defense. Miocic fought the ‘perfect fight’ last time out; he avoided Ngannou’s heavy punches and took control of the fight in the later rounds with his takedowns and extremely accurate striking.

Since then, both the fighters have been on a roll. Miocic has had his trilogy with Daniel Cormier. After losing the first match, Miocic bounced back with a Knockout finish in the second match and went on the win the trilogy on a unanimous decision. Whereas, “The Predator” has been on a knockout spree after first-round knockouts vs top fighters like Cain Velasquez, Junior Dos Santos, Curtis Blaydes, and Jairzinho Rozenstruik, all in less than three minutes combined!!!

Miocic has proved in the past that he is capable of maintaining the same amount of volume and power of punches over multiple rounds while his opponent Ngannou has been seen running out of stamina, which makes it difficult for him to score a quick TKO. When it comes to wrestling & grappling an opponent, Miocic is one of the best pros out there. He has a success rate of thirty-four percent and also has a seventy percent defense takedown rate whereas his opponent Ngannou has never attempted a takedown. It is clear that Miocic possesses a technical advantage in this rematch but things could go Ngannou’s way if he manages to land one of his big punches. What a night we have in store on the 27th !
