With the year 2021 coming to an end next month, WWE returns to one of their traditional PPV events with the iconic Survivor Series on the 21st of November in Brooklyn. The PPV was initially based around tag team matches but over the years it transitioned into matches between Raw and SmackDown’s top fighters. Let’s have a look at what we have in store the 2021 edition of the PPV:
1. WWE Champion Big E vs Universal Champion Roman Reigns

The main event of the PPV features a fight between WWE Champion Big E and the Universal Champion Roman Reigns with both fighters having the opportunity to unify the belts. Big E won the WWE Championship after cashing in his money in the bank contract on Bobby Lashley and since then the New Day member has been in a feud with the Head of the Table. Reigns has been the universal Champion for more than a year now and has been one of the most dominant champions the promotion has ever seen. It’s set to be a mega bout between the two and it’s something you shouldn’t miss if you are a WWE fan.
2. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair VS Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch

Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch have a lot of history, both as teammates and as opponents. During last week’s Raw show, the two shared a hostile interaction in the ring which created a lot of buzz for this fight. So without any further delay, WWE booked the pair to take each other on in order to unify the belts. In a press conference held inside the ring, Charlotte refused to go along with the plan of Becky taking her SmackDown belt and the fans loved it! They are just fascinated with the storyline which tells the story of two once close/inseparable friends disliking each other in every single way.
3. Women’s – Team Raw VS Team SmackDown

The traditional Survivor Series matches feature a five-a-side tag team elimination match between Raw and SmackDown. On the women’s side of things, the Raw team features fighters such as former champion Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Carmella, and Zelina Vega whereas the SmackDown team consists of Sasha Banks, Shotzi, Shayna Baszler, Natalya. One more fighter is to be added in Team SmackDown after WWE official Sonya Deville removed Aliyah from the match.
4. Men’s – Team Raw VS Team SmackDown

Although the main event features a title unification bout between Big E and Roman Reigns, all eyes would be on the Men’s 5-a-side match as it features a lot of the sport’s biggest names. Team Raw features Seth Rollins, Finna Balor, Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, and the All-Mighty Bobby Lashley. Lashley made his way into the team after beating Dominick Mysterio. The SmackDown team features Drew McIntyre, the King of the Ring, Xavier Woods, Jeff Hardy, and Happy Corbin. After a match between Hardy and Sami Zyan which Hardy won, Zyan was kicked off the team and a replacement is yet to be announced by WWE officials.
