As we head into the critical second half of Season 8 of Pro Kabaddi, we have seen some incredible individual brilliance from the top raiders, with athleticism at its very best. For the first time, there is NO Naveen Kumar on our list, but from Pawan Sehrawat to mighty Maninder Singh, the raiders have gone hard and scored the big points in Week 4, so here at Man’s Life, with a little data support from our friends at www.KabaddiAdda.com we bring you the Top 5 Raiders of the past week at Pro Kabaddi (week ending 16th January).
5. RAJNISH (Telugu Titans): 2 Matches – 20 points

In the absence of the Bahubali, Siddharth Desai, young Rajnish is starting to make his opportunity count for the Telugu Titans. While the team themselves are still winless and sitting bottom of the points table, there is reason to feel encouraged thanks to the performance of Rajnish who makes his first appearance in the list of our top raiders of any week. Bengaluru Bulls have surged ahead to the top of the points table over the past week and much of that damage, as expected, was done by their star raider and Captain, Pawan Sehrawat who scored an average of 17 points per game over the 3 games they played, with two of them resulting in wins.
4. ASLAM INAMDAR (Puneri Paltan): 2 Matches – 22 points

Aslam Inamdar is a name that should become a household name soon given the form we have witnessed and it also resulted in Pune winning 2 out of 2 with a massive score difference of 31 points in the past week. Puneri Paltan’s change in fortunes as they head up the points table has a lot to do with this young man’s all-round skill and his combination with Nitin Tomar has worked wonders for Pune.
3. MANINDER SINGH (Bengal Warriors): 3 Matches – 42 points

While the defending Champions, Bengal Warriors have struggled, mighty Maninder Singh has unleashed himself once again and stood tall amongst the ruins in what has been pretty much a one-man show for the Warriors. Maninder scored 14 points per game on average and scored almost every raid point in the Tied Match vs U Mumba.
2. RAKESH SANGROYA (Gujarat Giants): 2 Matches – 30 points

Young debutant, Rakesh Sangroya, continues to impress in Season 8 as his transition from Kabaddi Adda’s K7 tournament to the big leagues of Pro Kabaddi has been as smooth as they come. In another good week for the Raider, he averaged 15 points in Gujarat Giants’ 2 matches and has taken on the mantle of lead raider for Manpreet Singh’s side.
1. PAWAN SEHRAWAT (Bengaluru Bulls): 3 Matches – 51 points

They call him the flying juggernaut and when the Hi-Flyer gets going, there is just no stopping him! The Bengaluru Bulls have surged ahead to the top of the points table over the past week and much of that damage, as expected, was done by their star raider and Captain, Pawan Sehrawat who scored an average of 17 points per game over the 3 games they played, with two of them resulting in wins.
