The UFC Flyweight champion, Deiveson Figueiredo says that he is training for a short fight as he predicts to knock out Brandon Moreno in their rematch at UFC 263.
The last time these two faced each other inside the octagon was at UFC 256 as both fighters were given just 20 days’ notice to prepare for the fight. That fight, after five rounds, ended with a draw on a majority decision. It was the Brazillian who was better at throwing punches with a total of 137 significant strikes compared to Moreno’s 132, while Moreno was better at taking down his opponent to the canvas by completing a total of 4 takedowns.

Before their fight at UFC 256, Figueiredo was on a five-match win streak, defeating fighters Alexandre Pantoja, Tim Elliot, Joseph Benavidez twice, and Alex Perez. As for Brandon “The Assassin Baby” Moreno (18-5-2), he defeated Jussier Forminga on a unanimous decision and had a first-round TKO finish against Brandon Royal before drawing against Figueiredo.
With the UFC Flyweight title on the line this time and both fighters coming in with a complete camp of three months, the fight could go either way. We all know that Figueiredo will be going all out and look to land one of his heavy punches but expect Moreno to create some space between both of them and wait for the right moment to take things to the canvas, his comfort zone.

With the fight just seven days away, Deiveson “Deus Da Guerra” Figueiredo (20-1-1) says, “I’m training for a short fight, I’m going to knock this guy out in the first or second round. I wasn’t 100% in the first fight. He’s been saying I don’t have potential, that my hands aren’t heavy. I’ll show him he’s wrong about what he thinks of me. I’m the kind of guy who can have this wrath awakened inside of me when my opponent starts talking nonsense. I had a meeting with my team and we came up with something inevitable. I want to show I’m the real owner of that belt”
