Fantasy Premier League 2021/22 - Game-Week 26
A A A tT

It’s double-gameweek time in Fantasy Premier League as eight teams play two games on matchday 26 to make it the biggest gameweek of the season so far in FPL. Teams like Liverpool and Arsenal with two home games this week should be high on the wishlist of fantasy managers, and here are our Premier League fantasy football picks for gameweek 26.

FPL GW26

GK: Nick Pope (BUR) – £5.4m

Nick Pope managed two clean-sheets and 19 points the last time Burnley had a double-gameweek in gameweek 23, and the English shot-stopper has averaged 6.1 points per game in his last seven appearances.

DEF: Trent Alexander-Arnold (LIV) – £8.5m

Trent Alexander-Arnold remains a must-have asset for all Premier League fantasy football managers as the highest-scoring defender in Fantasy Premier League this season. The Englishman has played every minute of Liverpool’s previous 15 league games and has managed a combined 24 goals, assists and clean-sheets in 23 appearances this season.

DEF: Ben White (ARS) – £4.5m

Arsenal have conceded only one non-penalty goal in their last seven Premier League appearances, and have kept five clean sheets in their last six appearances at the Emirates Stadium, making Ben White an excellent bargain option in defence ahead of their encounters against Brentford and Wolves.

DEF: Andrew Robertson (ARS) – £7.1m

With Diogo Jota injured and Sadio Mane as a rotation risk, Andrew Robertson is the best third Liverpool asset for fantasy managers ahead of double-gameweek 26. Robertson has managed 45 points in his last five starts for Liverpool and has created the second most big chances amongst defenders over the past six games.

MID: Jarrod Bown (WHU) – £7.1m

Despite having only one fixture in game-week 26, Jarrod Bowen is an excellent fantasy asset this week ahead of West Ham’s fixture against Newcastle at home. Bowen has been the form player in the Premier League in 2022, managing five goals and five assists since gameweek 20.

MID: Wilfried Zaha (CRY) – £6.8m

Wilfried Zaha is the best fantasy asset from Crystal Palace for their double-gameweek against Chelsea and Watford, with the Ivorian managing two goals in his last four starts for the club.

MID: Heung-Min Son (TOT) – £11.7m

Heung-Min Son has managed five goals and three assists in his last eight matches in the league, and the Korean international has amassed 62 points in 10 games under Antonio Conte, averaging 6.2 points per game.

MID: Bukayo Saka (ARS) – £4.7m

Bukayo Saka has claimed 51 points at the Emirates Stadium this season, and the Gunners play two home games against Brentford and Wolves in gameweek 26. Saka has 11 goals and assists for Arsenal this season and has registered a team-high 27 shots and 24 chances created.

MID: Mohamed Salah (LIV) – £7.2m

Mohamed Salah plays Leeds United and Norwich at home in gameweek 26, and the Egyptian scored a total of 25 points in his previous meetings with the clubs this season.

FWD: Raul Jimenez (WOL) – £6.5m

Raul Jimenez has scored two goals in his last three appearances and has managed a team-leading 27 chances created and 41 shots for Wolves this season.

FWD: Alexandre Lacazette (ARS) – £12.5m

Alexandre Lacazette has two goals and four assists in his last seven appearances for Arsenal, and the Frenchman is guaranteed to start for the Gunners in both matches of the double-gameweek after the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Captaincy Pick

The captaincy choice is a no-brainer in gameweek 26 with one of the best players in fantasy premier league history – Mohamed Salah – playing two home games against Leeds and Norwich.
