The Moroccan full-back joined Inter Milan last summer in a €45m move from Real Madrid, the player is set to leave the Italian side after just one season with the club where he won the league title and was arguably one of the best players in the league.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan has agreed on a transfer fee for the right-back who will move to PSG for a swooping €60m plus €10m add-ons. Hakimi is reported to have signed a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 side and the deal will officially be announced soon.

Chelsea was amongst the clubs who were very interested in signing the former Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund man, with the blues reportedly willing to involve Emerson Palmieri or Marcos Alonso in a player-plus-cash deal. But Inter had made it clear that a deal for Hakimi would only go through for a cash offer and so there was no official bid made by Chelsea to sign Hakimi.

Hakimi isn’t the only player who is on his way to the French capital this summer. PSG completed the signing of Gini Wijnaldum a week ago and has also opened talks with Gianluigi Donnaruma, who is set to have his medical with the French club and is all set to join PSG as a free agent. The deal will officially be announced once the player returns from international duty with Italy.
