Cristiano Ronaldo is undoubtedly one of the deadliest goal scorers in the history of the sport. In Ronaldo’s first spell at Manchester United, he matured from an inexperienced, young winger in 2003 into officially the best winger in the premier league when he left the club in 2009. On his return to the club earlier this season, he opened his goal-scoring tally with a brace but has struggled to find the net as the season carried on.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who is currently in his seventh season in the EPL has scored a lot of bangers and today at Man’s Life we will take you through some of the best Cristiano Ronaldo goals in the English Premier League.

5. Manchester United VS Aston Villa – 07/08 season

The 07/08 season was one of the best season’s the Portuguese international had in the English Premier League with 31 goals. One of his top five goals came in that season in United’s home game against Aston Villa. In the 17th minute of the game, United were awarded a corner and there is no surprise that it was targetted towards Ronaldo. The five-time ballon d’or winner took a simple touch inside the box before flicking the ball in the most coolest ways to give United an early lead.

4. Manchester United VS Tottenham – 04/05 season

In his second season in the EPL, Cristiano Ronaldo had already proven to the world that he was in the books of becoming one of the best wingers in the Premier League. If not this goal against Tottenham in the 04/05 season was enough to say the least. The Portuguese took the ball just a few yards ahead of the halfline and ran down the right wing before unleashing a bullet of a shot which dipped into the far bottom corner giving the Tottenham goalkeeper no chance to save it.

3. Portsmouth VS Manchester United – 05/06 season

Cristiano Ronaldo’s favorite English Premier League opponent without a doubt has to be Portsmouth. The #7 always finds himself on the scoresheet against them be it home or away. This goal in the 05/06 season on a trip to Fratton park is just a reminder of the point made before. Ronaldo picked up the ball from the center of the opposition half, took two touches and let it fly with his weaker foot right down the middle.

2. Manchester United VS Everton – 07/08 season

This goal against Everton in the 07/08 season of the English Premier League raised an argument whether Cristiano Ronaldo has a weaker foot or not. Tevez switched the play to the right and as usual, Ronaldo collected it in a calm manner before cutting in and let fly the ball into the top left-corner with his left foot.

1. Manchester United VS Portsmouth – 07/08 season

This Cristiano Ronaldo goal has to go down as his best goal in the English Premier League. United were offered a free kick a few yards outside the penalty box and the Portuguese international stepped up to the occasion. With his eyes only on the ball, Ronaldo struck it with immense power as the ball wiggled its way to the top corner, leaving the wall and the goalkeeper with a helpless feeling as they watched the ball fly into the top bin like a bullet.
