The IT colour of winter is here.

A A A tT

When celebrity stylist Isha Bhansali dressed actor Ayushmann Khurrana in an oxblood co-ord set and called him ‘the oxblood prince’, everyone took notice. She wasn’t wrong, the colour does bring out the regality in you! Which got us wondering, why hasn’t anyone taken notice of this favourite winter colour yet? Especially since it has been fashion’s favourite hue for a few seasons! We at Man’s Life totally dig this shade. So, we put together a few ways in which you can wear oxblood this season!

1. OXBLOOD IN CLOTHING

We shall start with the easiest way of incorporating this colour into your daily life: With your basic garments! Opt for an oxblood tee or shirt. If you are out being adventurous, invest in an oxblood suit and watch everyone catch their breath! A co-ord jogger or workout set isn’t a bad option either. Oxblood is best paired with neutral colours like black, white, grey or browns. Keep that in mind while putting together an OOTD!

2. OXBLOOD IN ACCESSORIES

This colour DELIVERS when it comes to accessories! Be it sunglasses or even bags, oxblood is a colour that will make your outfit shine. If you are going for a basic nonchalant vibe, add an oxblood travel bag or frames to make you stand out from the rest!

3. OXBLOOD IN SHOES

Move over the blacks and browns! Oxblood shoes are way cooler. One of the colours used in brogues is actually oxblood—to be honest, that is a welcome change. Be it loafers or shoes, oxblood always shines. Pair it with a full black suit or with grey trousers and a white shirt for an elevated look.

4. OXBLOOD IN OUTERWEAR

Winter is here and it’s just the season for fashionably fabulous outwear, depending on where you live. Choose your trench coat in an oxblood or opt for an oxblood leather jacket and be ready to impress the heck out of everyone! Trust us,  it isn’t really as OTT as you think. It is, in fact, a recommended addition to your winter wardrobe.

5. OXBLOOD NAILS

There is no reason why you shouldn’t be painting your nails oxblood. If you are into getting your nails done and aren’t afraid to flaunt it, this is the colour for you. Try it out next time. Skip the black and add the oxblood. Singer-actor and fashion god Harry Styles has just launched his beauty brand Pleasingwhich has nail enamels too!

Who doesn’t love a good colour trend? It gives you more reasons to play around with it by adding new elements to your wardrobe. Don’t be shy to try out an oxblood outfit or accessory, the next time you are out shopping!
