Who doesn’t love a man with a good beard? Men and beards are a match made in grooming heaven. While the No-shave November is a popular annual event, some celebs rock the bearded look throughout the year, and we are here for it. Whether it’s a full beard or well-trimmed, a French beard or a clean shave, we have seen them all. It’s World Beard Day today and we couldn’t miss the opportunity of featuring some dashing dudes who love to show off their beards. Here are some famous personalities who hit the home run with their beard game.
Be it the comic villainous character of Chhedi Singh in Dabangg, or the antagonist Durva Ranade in the film Simmba, actor Sonu Sood aced the roles and carried off the bearded looks. From the almost-clean-shaved stubble to the well-trimmed and shaped lush beard, this humanitarian can pull off any look with ease.
He entered the Hindi Film industry with a clean shaved chocolate-boy look in Student Of The Year and boy has his trajectory in films and beards only escalated. From the French beard with stubble in the film Brothers to his fauji beard in his portrayal of Captain Vikram Batra in the film Shershaah, actor Sidharth Malhotra has shown us a spectrum of characters and beards to fall in love with.
I don’t think any list can be complete with the mention of our very own Captain America. While some Marvel films have him clean-shaven it’s the films in which he has a beard that wowed the audience—of course, his acting played a huge role as well. A bearded Chris Evans surely makes women go weak in their knees! Takea tip or two when it comes to beards from him!!!
This Canadian rapper and singer dropped his new album Certified Lover Boy and gave us new reasons to rekindle our love for his music and of course his beard. While Drake’s beard might appear simple, it definitely is not. He has a clean and finely razored cheek line for which he uses a precision razor. It’s similar to a scalpel, but for facial hair. No wonder his beard is on fleek all the time!
We saw actor Arjun Kapoor’s new trailer Bhoot Police and couldn’t help, but admire his facial hair. No wonder it took a lot of persuasions to get him clean-shaven for his film Aurangzeb (though they still went with an ever so slight stubble). He has been sporting beards since his debut film and the one thing we can say is that we aren’t complaining. The more films he does, the more beard styles we will get to see.
The Indian cricket team captain is always making headlines! Be it him taking us victoriously through a match or wowing us with his impressive facial hair. With a dense crop growing on his face Virat Kohli never backs out from trying out a new style when it comes to his beard.
Actor Tom Hardy hands down has one of the most magnificent beard styles ever. We are here to tell you how to achieve his trademark manly unkempt look. Grow your beard out, long enough that you think you can achieve his style. The two things that you leave behind is a thick moustache and a goatee. Trim your beard to the length you like and add a fade as you reach your cheeks. There you have it, the classic Tom Hardy signature beard.
It really would be silly of us if we made a list of people with great beards and not mention actor Ranveer Singh. How can we forget the long and luscious beard he grew out for his not-so-nice character Khilji in the film Padmaavat or even his thick signature-styled beard for the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela- Ram Leela? Whatever the character Ranveer Singh has pulled off each look with the same panache and conviction!
Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan is the poster boy for beards. His unique style and thick beard have set a trend in Kerala. From the unkempt, unruly beard in the film Charlie to his well-groomed facial hair in the film Hindi film The Zoya Factor, he can do it all.
All beards look great when styled well and actor Vicky Kaushal really does slay the beard game. From the thick beard as a special forces officer in Uri or the stylised french beard in Manmarziyan, he has donned many caps and shown us the versatility in beards as well.
Actor Dhanush has shown us different beards through the years, but it is his beard in the film Maari that blew us away. It is different and unique to his character. We need more men to experiment with beard styles as he does.
This right-handed batsman and a wicket-keeper of the national cricket team is known for his skills, but the other thing he is known for is his beard. KL Rahul loves experimenting with the styles and we love it. One of the most famous beard styles he has is the Ducktail beard style. It’s when you grow the beard out styled in a way that it resembles a ducktail at the chin. This cricketer sure does own every look.
So many styles of beards and each one is better than the other. We really are spoilt for choice. This World Beard Day, choose the beard style you love most in this list and give it a try!
