Despite being slammed by a defamation notice and then sending out a series of panicked tweets promising to never speak ill of Salman Khan, Twitter troll Kamaal R Khan had swiftly jumped on the limelight he had received and made even more disgusting statements about Khan and Bollywood, in general. Now, a City Civil Court Judge C V Marathe has granted interim relief to the Radhe actor and temporarily restrained KRK from making any statements, videos, posts or reposting and republishing any defamatory content against the actor, TOI reports.
“Reputation and honour are no less precious to good men than bodily safety and freedom,” the judge reportedly said. “A person is identified by his name. His name may have no value t o society but would be precious to the person concerned. A good name is better than great riches…Reputation is not only a salt of life but the purest treasure and the most precious perfume of life,” the judge had added. Now, it goes to see if KRK, Bollywood’s self-proclaimed number 1 critic refrains from his toxic tweets.
