Another Bollywood celebrity has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Two days after he walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra at the Lakme Fashion Week, actor Kartik Aaryan has tested positive for COVID-19. It remains to be seen if Kiara Advani, Manish Malhotra, the other models and crew who interacted with Aaryan will also test positive.
Aaryan confirmed the news on social media with a picture of a + symbol alongside a caption that went: “Positive ho gaya, dua karo”. The Pyaar ka Punchnama actor who is the current flavour of the season in B-Town has been working on the standalone sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa titled Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. His co-actor in the movie is Advani. Aaryan had also been sharing multiple pictures from his gym.
Aaryan had been one of the first Bollywood celebs to ensure that the public knew about the dangers of COVID-19. Using his now-popular monologue style, he had made a video talking about the virus and what precautions one can take. He will also be seen next in Dostana 2, the original one having featured John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan.
