Kareena Kapoor Khan is clearly an iconic woman. She’s given Bollywood many characters that are still celebrated in our pop culture. Take Geet or Poo as an example. But how has she managed to stay relevant for 21 years in such a competitive industry? In an interview with Mayukh Majumdar, Content Strategist of Filmfare, Kareena opened up about her self-confidence.
“Just the idea of believing in myself. I know it’s been 21 years but I know there’s going to be another 21 years because I’m confident about it. I know I have to make it happen. Maybe fewer films because of the children but I know I want to keep doing something new and it’s time to try something different. It’s all about my confidence. Be it walking the ramp in the different phases, like when I was pregnant, or I had just delivered or being seven months into giving birth, the idea is to be super comfortable in my skin, look super good and be confident. It’s my way of sending out a message to all women that confidence can take you places,” Kareena told Mayukh Majumdar in an exclusive interview with Filmfare. Majumdar also uploaded a reel about his conversation with the Jab We Met star on his personal Instagram feed.

Earlier, in another conversation with Majumdar, Kareena has spoken about her LGBTQ fans.
“I love you guys! I love the fact that you always shower me with so much love. I’m all for transparency and both Saif and I are people who live life transparently and have friends all over the world from the LGBTQ community. We are open-hearted and open-minded and that’s the way I look forward to bringing up my children. We talk to them about issues pertaining to the community and I feel that’s how it should be,” Kareena had told Mayukh Majumdar for Filmfare.
