After having hit peak stardom in Queen and Tanu Weds Manu, the actress followed it up with a hard-hitting avatar in Manikarnika. Now, Ranaut is all set to star as J Jayalalithaa in the upcoming biopic titled, Thalaivi. Thalaivi will focus on Jayalalithaa’s rise from actress to Tamil Nadu’s most powerful politician who was fondly known as Amma by the adoring masses.
It comes as no surprise that the trailer for the film will be launched in a grand manner. The trailer for Thalaivi will launch on the 23rd of March, which is Ranaut’s birthday. According to media reports, the makers of the film are planning a massive event for the trailer launch.
