Boney Kapoor is one of Bollywood’s most established producers and now, he is all set to make his acting debut. Kapoor will be starring as Ranbir Kapoor’s father in Luv Ranjan’s next movie which also stars Dimple Kapadia and Shraddha Kapoor. Speaking about the same, actor Janhvi Kapoor opened up about how her family has reacted to the news. “We are very excited. We really wanted him to do the role. He was quite apprehensive when the offer came along. But Arjun, Anshula, Khushi and I drove him to do it,” the actress told ETimes.
Kapoor, who recently starred in the box-office dud, Roohi, has also stated that she would have felt awkward to see her father on his set. “I would have felt awkward to go to his shoot as I have always seen him giving instructions and not taking them. Let it all unfold on the big screen. You know what! It will be really cool to see him acting; I have often seen him emoting and feeling songs while he watches them on TV, he loves to do that with songs on a few music channels. I’m sure he’ll do a good job,” she said.
