Woah, talk about a clash! On Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday, actress Alia Bhatt revealed the teaser and the release date of Gangubai Kathiawadi. It didn’t take long for netizens to figure out that Gangubai Kathiawadi was going to clash with Radhe Shyam on the 30th of June this year.
Gangubai Kathiawadi features Alia Bhatt in the lead role as Kamathipura’s top pimp, Gangubai Kothewali who ruled the red-light district with an iron fist. The SLB movie will also star Ajay Devgn as Karim Lala in a cameo appearance. There are also rumours that actors Emraan Hashmi and Huma Qureshi will also be a part of the project.

A source told Bollywood Hungama that the team of Gangubai Kathiawadi had been contemplating multiple dates for the release of the movie and that they had finally zeroed in on 30th June. Team Radhe Shyam had also blocked the same date on Valentine’s Day this year.
Now only time will tell who will win the box-office… Alia and SLB’s magic or Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s romance.
