Salman Khan made this statement during a media interaction
It is common knowledge that while a Salman Khan film might not appeal to the cinema elite and movie critics, it works wonders in single-screen theatres in India. Hence, while Khan’s latest outing, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai opened to terrible reviews, it was streamed millions of times on ZeePlex.
In fact, within hours of its release, the movie was also making the rounds on piracy sites and on Telegram. Now, Khan has said that a flop only makes him want to work harder. “Now at the age of 55-56, I am doing what I used to do at the age of 14-15. That’s because the young generation has Tiger Shroff. Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff and Aayush Sharma are coming now so we will have to work harder,” Khan said during a media interaction.
“Which film will work? Which film will be a flop? People see it as a 9-5 job. I have taken it as a 24×7 job. I just work. That’s all I want to do. If a film flops, I work harder. I realised that when you put your blood and sweat into something and give your best, the audience understands your hard work. And it appreciates it, too,” he added. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was released on the 13th of May. Besides Khan, the film stars actors Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles. The film is directed by Prabhudeva.
