Farhan Akhtar’s Transformation For Toofaan Is All The Fitness Inspiration You Need

Fitness transformations aren’t a new phenomenon in Bollywood, as we had covered in a feature earlier. Actors like Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have been there and done that. In fact, Kriti Sanon also put on 15 kilos for her role in her upcoming movie, Mimi. However, Farhan Akhtar’s transformation for Toofaan is truly something else. The actor shared a picture of his transformation for the film and it has stunned everyone.

During the course of the movie, Farhan had to gain 15 kilos and lose 10 kilos. Add to that, he had to put on muscle mass and ensure that his body resembled that of a boxer’s. “The many shapes and sizes of Ajju aka Aziz aka Toofaan. What a ride. 18 months of relentless work but worth every drop of sweat, every sore muscle and every pound gained and lost,” Farhan wrote in the caption to his Instagram post.

Farhan Akhtar had undergone a similar transformation for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The actor has always been fit and has had a good physique but these sports biopics require intense training to ensure that he looks believable as the character. What’s admirable is that a boxer or an athlete’s physique looks that way after years of training but Farhan probably had to gain such a body in a shorter span of time.
