A lot has been said about the Chehre posters that didn’t include Rhea Chakraborty. However, the trailer for the film that dropped yesterday, features the actress in a short clip. Chehre stars Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles.
“There was never any question of not having Rhea in the film. She was, is and will always be an integral part of Chehre. I don’t believe in getting swayed so easily,” producer Anand Pandit told Zoom TV.
The controversy around Chakraborty’s appearance stems from the witch hunt surrounding the actress after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Three central agencies were deployed to look into the matter while Sushant’s fans and certain members of the media took it upon themselves to pass judgment on the actress and those close to her. Chakraborty family too were forced into this media circus.
“We did not react because we have decided not to talk about Rhea at this moment. We will answer questions regarding her at the right time. At this juncture, there is nothing more I can say,” Pandit had told MidDay earlier. Annu Kapoor, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, Krystle D’Souza and Siddhant Kapoor will also be seen in the film.
