Akshay Kumar and his leading ladies, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrat Bharucha flew down to Ayodhya yesterday to conduct a puja before the shoot of their film, Ram Setu. The actor took to Instagram to share a video of Fernandez and Bharucha fixing their makeup on a moving bus. In the video, Fernandez can be seen doing up her eyeliner while Bharucha is fixing her lipstick. “Sharing the view on my left and right…our version of India’s Got Talent What say? @jacquelinef143 @nushrrattbharuccha,” the actor wrote in his caption.

Bharucha also shared images from their trip with her co-actress. “Grateful to seek blessings in the Holy land of Ayodhya for #RamSetu,” she captioned the post. The top priest of Ram Janmabhoomi, Satyendra Das conducted the puja. “Aaj shree ayodhya jee mein film ‘ram setu’ ke shubhaarambh par bhagavaan shree raam ka aasheervaad praapt hua (Today, the blessings of Lord Ram were received at the launch of the film ‘Ram Setu’ in Sri Ayodhya),” Kumar shared in another post.

This will be Kumar’s first film since Good Newzz. The film is being directed by Abhishek Sharma and is produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra.
