It’s been more than a year since the Polish erotic drama, 365 Days, made its debut on Netlfix and it continues to trend in the top 10 most-watched movies on the leading streaming platform. 365 Days holds an extremely poor rating of 3.3/10 on IMDb but the reason it worked is because of the extremely explicit sex scenes featuring the lead actor, Michele Morrone who became a star overnight. In fact, so popular is the Italian actor and model that there is buzz that he may make his Bollywood debut soon. According to media reports, at least three well-known Bollywood filmmakers have approached him.
“Bollywood is big and its reach is undeniable. I love the culture, music, colours and beauty of what Bollywood creates. I don’t know much, but I recently started educating myself by looking for information on Bollywood. My management team has also expanded to India and I can’t wait to see what the outcome can be,” the actor told Bombay Times.
“I would love to do a Hindi film. As an actor, I love challenging roles and they can sometimes make you uncomfortable. I believe when you’re uncomfortable, that’s when you start creating magic. My team has been approached for Bollywood projects, and that’s why we’ve expanded there,” he added.
However, while fans are obsessed with his sex appeal, Morrone doesn’t think too much about it. “You want people to focus on your talent, career, passion or personality. I want people to know more about me and who I am and not just focus on my looks. As an actor and singer, I want my work to touch people’s lives,” he told BT.
