Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is the latest adventure sports motorcycle from the British manufacturer. As the name suggests, it gets Triumph’s 660cc three-cylinder engine that makes a healthy 80hp and 64Nm of torque. Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is a derivative of the Trident 660 that debuted in the country a year ago.
Price
Triumph has priced the Tiger Sport 660 at an introductory price of Rs. 8.95 lakhs ex-showroom. It is also offered with a two-year unlimited-mileage warranty. To reduce the cost of ownership, Triumph mentions that the motorcycle needs to be serviced at an interval of 16,000 kms or every 12 months, whichever is earlier.

Performance
As mentioned, Triumph has put the 660cc inline three-cylinder engine in the Tiger Sport 660 as in the Trident 660. The engine churns out 80hp and 64Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a wet-clutch setup. It gets two riding modes — Road and Rain — along with switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS.
Design
Triumph pegs the Tiger Sport 660 as a middleweight sports tourer and it gets a half fairing as well as an adjustable windshield. Despite having the ‘Tiger’ moniker, Triumph says the motorcycle is made “tarmac adventures”. Tiger Sport 660 gets dual LED headlamps with self-cancelling indicators. It also gets an upright seating position that Triumph says will make it easy to ride.
