Tata Curvv Concept has just been unveiled and it’s a striking piece of kit. The Coupe SUV concept will have two powertrains where the first will be an Electric motor while the other will be an internal combustion engine (ICE) that will launch later on. The design of the Tata Curvv Concept seems striking with a swooping roofline and rising beltline, similar to other Tata SUVs.
Powertrain
As mentioned, Tata will offer two powertrains on the Tata Curvv Concept. The Coupe SUV will get an Electric motor and an ICE. Details about both were not shared since it’s only at its concept stage as of now.
The wait is over.

Tata did mention that Curvv will get a Generation 2 EV architecture that is said to be more advanced, flexible, and capable of offering multiple powertrain options.
Exterior
The design of Tata Curvv concept is striking to say the least. It gets a good amount of ground clearance along with body cladding on the sides to make it look more like an SUV. Many manufacturers are now introducing coupe-style SUVs and Tata is the latest entrant in the segment. The sloping roofline makes the car a bit more stylish but arguably reduces space inside the cabin.
At the front, Tata Curvv gets a single LED light bar that runs across the whole fascia. Since the concept shows the EV variant, there seems to be a lack of a grille at the front. Even the Tata logo is placed underneath the LED light bar. The lights at the front get a triangular shape adding to the curvy yet straight design language of Tata Curvv.
Tata has positioned the third brake light on the Curvv Concept interestingly. It is wrapped around three sides of the rear windscreen and it gets a single LED light bar.
Interior
Inside, Tata Curvv Concept has a very clean design language, as is the case with most concept cars. There are two floating touch screens with one behind the two-spoke steering wheel that shouts retro. The steering wheel seems reminiscent of the ones Tata used in the old Sumo and Sierra.
The accelerator and brake pedals have interestingly been laid flat on the floor. Being an EV, the front footwell has oodles of space since there is no powertrain to take up space
Availability
Tata Curvv SUV is expected to arrive in the Indian market in the next couple of years. The production version is expected to look similar to the concept, as it has been the case with previous Tata concepts.
